On Thursday, Dad, Chloe, and I went to over to the coffee shop so I could go to youth group. No one came, so we went home. When we got home, my mom, Keegan, and Kale got in the car. My brothers told me Mom and Dad had a surprise for us. We earlier had been talking about getting a cat for my birthday. Dad wanted a dog, but mom did not. We stopped at PetSmart in Central Park and looked at the cats. They were are full-grown cats. We wanted a kitten. So we went to PetSmart and looked. There were three cute kittens that had arrived that day. Dad finally said we could get one, so we got a girl. Her name is Ashes.
